As per reports, an anti-racism group is scheduled to hold a rally outside the Scottish Parliament in Edinburgh on Saturday (10 August) in response to the far-right riots occurring in England and Belfast.
• The group organising Saturday’s Edinburgh rally, Stand Up to Racism Scotland, anticipates a large turnout, with locals expected to gather at Holyrood at 1100 hours (local time) in numbers similar to those seen in the recent events in the south.
• Additionally, on Wednesday (07 August), thousands of anti-racism protesters marched through towns and cities across England in a show of defiance against the far-right.
