As per reports, orange flood warnings are in effect in the Nord department and Pas-de-Calais on Tuesday (02 January). Heavy rainfall is expected over the northern half of the country by Tuesday (02 January) evening.

Additionally, yellow warnings for flooding and wind are in place across northwest France. Paris is under a wind warning.
