Snowfall may persist in mountainous regions and isolated northern areas, with mixed precipitation elsewhere. Blizzards may occur in the Eastern Carpathians due to strong winds, while Bucharest is expected to experience cooler temperatures of five to six degrees Celsius and a low of negative five to negative three degrees Celsius, with reduced chances of precipitation.
• By Sunday (05 January), temperatures are expected to slightly exceed seasonal norms, with light precipitation and fog in some areas. From Tuesday (07 January) to 10 January, higher-than-normal temperatures are expected nationwide, with increased rainfall in the west, center, and north later in the period. Bucharest is also expected to experience warm temperatures and rainfall by the evening of 10 January.
