As per reports, adverse marine and atmospheric conditions are expected across southern coastal areas of Albania from Friday (24 July) into Saturday (25 July).
• Reports indicate that small vessels, speedboats and fishing vessels operating outside the Gulf of Vlora and Gulf of Saranda and along the Dhërmi–Himarë–Saranda coastline are advised to avoid maritime operations from 1200 hours local time (1000 hours UTC) on Friday (24 July) until the morning of Saturday (25 July).
• Port authorities have restricted small-vessel and fishing operations in affected waters from 1400 hours local time (1200 hours UTC) on Friday (24 July) to 0600 hours local time (0400 hours UTC) on Saturday (25 July).
• North to north-westerly winds of Force six to seven and waves between 1.5 and 3.5 metres are forecast in exposed maritime areas. International maritime transport services are expected to continue according to scheduled routes. The State Police has also called for increased caution on roads due to possible rainfall and wet surfaces, particularly regarding speed limits, safety distances and hazardous manoeuvres.
