As per reports, British Colombia Highway Patrol and Chilliwack RCMP are responding to a road accident reported at Vedder Canal Bridge, west of the Yale Road West exit around on the Highway one in Chilliwack at approximately 1445 hours local time on Tuesday (06 August).

• Five vehicles were involved and at least one person was trapped.
• Eastbound traffic was completely blocked and westbound was down to one lane as of 1730 hours local time on Tuesday (06 August).
• The crash is currently under investigation as of 1800 hours local time.
