As per reports, a major accident was reported at Khopoli in Raigad district along the Mumbai-Pune Expressway at around 0400 hours on Saturday morning (09 November).
• A private bus headed to Kolhapur collided with a stationary truck, resulting in critical injuries to eight and minor injuries to 10 others.
• Initial investigations have revealed that the driver of the private bus lost control of the steering.
• Authorities have managed to clear the debris and admitted injured passengers to the Kamothe hospital. However, route diversions and delays on the Expressway may be anticipated till at least afternoon hours.
