As per reports, the All Assam Students’ Union (AASU) on Monday (15 July) staged protests on National Highway-37 in Banipur in Dibrugarh district against waterlogging on the highway due to floods. The AASU members raised slogans against the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) government and the newly formed Dibrugarh Municipal Cooperation (DMC) for failing to solve the waterlogging problem of Dibrugarh.
