The United States Geological Survey (USGS) reported a 5.2 magnitude earthquake 134 kilometres (km) West-Northwest (WNW) of Panguna in Papua New Guinea on Wednesday (06 May). The earthquake was reported at 0943 hours UTC at a depth of 103.6 km.
