As per reports, a magnitude 5.0 earthquake was recorded south of Balut Island in the Municipality of Sarangani, Davao Occidental, on Saturday (11 July).

The earthquake was reported at 1851 hours (local time) on Saturday (11 July), at a depth of 22 kilometres (km).
