According to the Institute of Geophysics, a 5.0 magnitude earthquake, with a focal depth of about 8.1 km was reported in Kon Plong district, in Kon Tum province on Sunday (28 July) at 1135 hours (local time).
Tremors were reported in Ho Chi Minh City and the provinces of Quang Nam, Gia Lai, and Kon Tum.
