As per reports, the United States Geological Survey (USGS) has recorded a 4.5 magnitude earthquake approximately 37 kilometres southwest of Mohr, Fars Province, Iran, on Tuesday (17 March).

The earthquake occurred at 1029 hours local time (0659 hours UTC) at a depth of 10.0 kilometres, placing it in the shallow category, and the epicentre was recorded at coordinates 27.332 degrees North, 52.605 degrees East.
