According to the Japan Meteorological Agency (JMA), a 4.3 magnitude earthquake was recorded at 1149 hours (local time) on Sunday (01 November) in the sea adjacent to Chichijima Island, Ogasawara Islands, Tokyo Metropolis, Japan.
The earthquake occurred at a depth of 30 kilometers.
