As per the Japan Meteorological Agency (JMA), an earthquake of magnitude 4.2 was recorded off the coast of Fukushima Prefecture, Japan, on Sunday (25 October) at 1504 hours (local time).
The earthquake occurred at latitude 37.8 degrees North and longitude 141.8 degrees East, with an epicentre depth of 40 km beneath the Earth’s surface.
