As per reports, the Quad nations including Japan, Australia, India and the United States will be holding a joint naval exercise ‘Malabar 2026’ in waters off the coast of Kanto region in Japan until Thursday (12 November).
• The Quad group aims to strengthen ties through the joint training, and includes exercises involving responses to submarines and surface fleets.
• The Indian Navy’s indigenous Guided Missile Stealth Frigate, INS Sahyadri, of the Eastern Fleet, arrived at Yokosuka Naval Base, Japan, on Wednesday (04 November), to participate in the naval exercise.
