As per reports, the Euro-Mediterranean Seismological Centre (EMSC) has recorded a 4.0 magnitude earthquake in Oaxaca, Mexico, on Saturday (04 April).

The earthquake occurred at 0606 hours local time (1206 hours UTC) at a depth of 73 kilometres, placing it in the intermediate-depth category and the epicentre was recorded at 16.576 degrees North, 96.008 degrees West, approximately 10 kilometres south of Soledad Salinas and 94 kilometres east-southeast of Oaxaca City.
