The Indonesian Agency for Meteorology, Climatology, and Geophysics (BMKG) reported a 4.3 magnitude earthquake at approximately 34 kilometres southeast of Daruba, North Maluku, on Thursday (26 February), around 0536 hours (local time).

The depth has been recorded at about 03 kilometres.
