The Meteorology, Climatology, and Geophysics Agency of Indonesia (BMKG) has reported a 3.4 magnitude earthquake 55 kilometres northeast of Teluk Bintuni, Papua Barat, on Sunday (22 February) at around 1520 hours (local time).

The earthquake occurred at a depth of 10 kilometres. No human casualty or damage to property has been reported so far.
