As per the National Center for Seismology (NCS), a 3.4 magnitude earthquake was reported in East Garo Hills at 2318 hours (local time) on Tuesday (16 June).

The earthquake occurred at a depth of 20 kilometers, and no reports of immediate damages have been made.
