The challenge

A technology company with engineering centres across APAC had a duty-of-care policy but no way to answer the only question that mattered during an incident: which of our people are affected, and have we heard from them.

What we did

Employee and office locations were registered as monitored entities, with itineraries ingested from the travel platform. Exposure thresholds were tuned per site, and the escalation ladder — reminder, second reminder, call attempt, manager, crisis team — was wired to run automatically.

The outcome

Welfare check response reached 96% within the first hour, and median time from event detection to a named exposure list fell to eight minutes. The programme now produces its own audit record without anyone maintaining a spreadsheet.
