The challenge
A national retailer needed to trade through an election cycle that overlapped its highest-revenue season, without exposing staff or stock to unrest it could have anticipated.
What we did
All 900 stores were mapped as monitored entities with proximity scoring against counting centres, party offices and known protest routes. A six-week forward calendar drove staffing and delivery planning.
The outcome
Thirty-one temporary closures were planned in advance rather than decided on the day, and the retailer avoided an estimated two days of lost trading across the affected regions.
