Description:
As per reports, the Tiruchi Rural Police have announced traffic diversions along sections of the Tiruchi–Chennai National Highway and adjoining routes in Tiruchirappalli district, Tamil Nadu, in connection with the Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) state conference scheduled to be held at Siruganur on Monday (09 March). The conference is expected to witness a large gathering of party members and supporters from across the state.
• Authorities stated that diversion arrangements will come into effect from 0600 hours (local time) on Monday (09 March) to manage the anticipated inflow of vehicles and prevent congestion near the conference venue located along the Tiruchi–Chennai highway at Siruganur.
• Heavy vehicles travelling from Chennai towards Dindigul and Madurai will reportedly be diverted via Perambalur bypass road, Thuraiyur, Musiri, Kulithalai, and Manapparai. Vehicles travelling from Madurai towards Chennai will be diverted at Viralimalai through Manapparai, Kulithalai, Musiri, Thuraiyur, and Perambalur. Additional diversion routes have also been announced for vehicles approaching the venue from districts including Karur, Ariyalur, and Cuddalore.
