Description:
As per reports, the Danish meteorological institute (DMI) has issued a warning for thunderstorms and cloudburst conditions across parts of Denmark on Tuesday (05 August), with the warning remaining in effect until 1200 hours local time (1000 hours UTC).
• Reports indicate that the warning applies to most areas of North Jutland, East Jutland, Zealand, Lolland, Falster, and Langeland.
• Reportedly, thunderstorms and heavy rainfall may result in localised accumulations of 15 millimetres to 25 millimetres of rainfall within 30 minutes in affected areas.
• Reports suggest that warm and unstable air moving northeastwards from the southwest is contributing to the adverse weather conditions.
