Description:
As per reports, a fire broke out in the basement electrical room of a commercial building in Bonifacio Global City (BGC), Taguig City, at approximately 1456 hours (local time) on Wednesday (27 May).
• Authorities subsequently raised the incident to first alarm status before declaring the fire under control at around 1635 hours (local time), while electricity supply to the building was temporarily cut to facilitate firefighting and mopping-up operations.
• Continued localized disruptions, including traffic congestion and restricted access around portions of BGC, remain possible as authorities conduct post-incident assessments and clearance operations.
