As per reports, hot daytime conditions are expected across much of Thailand on Tuesday (10 March), with isolated thundershowers and gusty winds forecast in multiple inland and coastal provinces.
• Hot conditions with isolated thundershowers and gusty winds are expected across parts of the Northern, Northeastern, Central, Eastern, and Bangkok Metropolitan regions, including Mae Hong Son, Chiang Mai, Chiang Rai, Lamphun, Lampang, Sukhothai, Tak, Kamphaeng Phet, Phetchabun, Loei, Chaiyaphum, Nakhon Ratchasima, Buriram, Kanchanaburi, Ratchaburi, Nakhon Pathom, Samut Sakhon, Samut Songkhram, Nakhon Nayok, Prachin Buri, Chon Buri, Rayong, Chanthaburi, Trat, and Bangkok. Minimum temperatures in these areas are expected to range between 18 and 28 degrees Celsius, while maximum temperatures are likely to range between 33 and 38 degrees Celsius. Winds are forecast to remain generally light to moderate, ranging between 5 and 30 kilometres per hour.
• Isolated thundershowers are also forecast across parts of the Southern East Coast and Southern West Coast, including Chumphon, Surat Thani, Nakhon Si Thammarat, Phatthalung, Songkhla, Ranong, Phang Nga, and Krabi. Minimum temperatures are expected between 23 and 26 degrees Celsius, while daytime highs are likely to range between 33 and 36 degrees Celsius. Winds are forecast between 15 and 35 kilometres per hour.
• Marine conditions are expected to remain moderate overall; however, wave heights may rise above 2 metres during thundershower activity in parts of the Eastern seaboard and the Gulf coast. Along the Andaman coast, wave heights may exceed 1 metre in offshore areas and during thundershowers.
