• Emergency services, including Essex Police, East of England Ambulance Service, and Essex County Fire and Rescue Service, responded and remain at the scene.
• Crews from Southend, Rayleigh Weir, Basildon, Billericay, and Chelmsford fire stations were deployed to manage the situation.
• As a precaution, Rochford Hundred Golf Club and Westcliff Rugby Club, located near the incident site, were evacuated.
• London Southend Airport has been temporarily closed, and all easyJet flight operations have been suspended for the rest of the day.
