As per reports, the State Meteorological Agency (Aemet) issued yellow warnings for waves, storms, and heavy rainfall on Monday (14 April), in multiple Spanish regions, including Andalusia, Aragon, Asturias, Balearic Islands, Cantabria, Catalonia, Galicia, Navarre, and the Basque Country, particularly affecting coastal areas such as Almería and Granada.
• Strong westerly winds (50–60 km/h) and waves up to three meters are forecast, with widespread showers expected across Andalusia, particularly inland. A cold polar air mass is expected to cause a significant drop in temperatures in many parts of the country.
• Navarre is expected to experience heavy rainfall accompanied by thunderstorms and hail on Monday (14 April) and Tuesday (15 April), with snow levels expected to drop to 1,000 meters. Cloudy conditions and possible fog in higher elevations will continue through Thursday.
• The region will see declining minimum and maximum temperatures, with light frost expected in higher elevations of the Pyrenees, particularly on Tuesday (15 April) and Wednesday (16 April). Temperatures will remain below 20 degrees Celsius in major cities like Seville and Almería.
• While a brief lull in rainfall is forecast mid-week on Thursday (17 April), another Atlantic storm system may bring renewed rainfall towards the weekend, particularly in Galicia, the Cantabrian regions, and parts of inland Spain.
