As per reports, the Tornado and Storm Research Organisation (TORRO) has issued a tornado warning for parts of the UK, accompanied by strong wind and rainfall – winds are expected to reach up to 70mph – until 1600 hours local time on Thursday (22 February).
The TORRO tornado alert covers south Wales, East Anglia, southern England, parts of the Midlands and the Channel Islands. It also states that there could be hail and lightning.
