Earthquake of magnitude 5.7 reported in Xinjiang on Tuesday (30 January)

According to reports, an earthquake of magnitude 5.7 occurred in the Aheqi county in Kirgiz autonomous prefecture of Kizilsu in Northwest China’s Xinjiang Uygur autonomous region at 0627 hours on Tuesday (30 January), as per the China Earthquake Networks Center (CENC).

The epicenter, with a depth of 10 kilometers, was monitored at 41.15 degrees north latitude and 78.67 degrees east longitude.
