As per reports, a road alert phase is maintained by the authorities due to winter weather conditions on Thursday (18 January) in several regions.
The yellow alert for slippery conditions has been extended until Friday (19 January) 1300 hours local time throughout the country with the exception of the Belgian coast. The traffic ban on vehicles used for transporting things and whose length exceeds 13 meters is extended, on the following routes:
• On the E25 motorway (A602-A26) between the Loncin and Massul interchange, in both directions.
• On the E42 (A27) motorway between Verviers and Steinebruck, in both directions.
