As per reports, the National Meteorological Institute (IMN) forecasts mostly stable conditions, light winds, and an increased heat index across Costa Rica on Monday (06 April).
• Brief rainfall and thunderstorms are expected in the afternoon in the South Pacific and mountainous areas of the Central Pacific. No significant rainfall is expected in the rest of the country.
• Central Valley is expected to begin with few clouds and occasional wind gusts, becoming partly cloudy in the afternoon. San José temperatures are anticipated to range from 17.5 degrees celsius to 27.1 degrees celsius.
• North Pacific is expected to have a clear day with occasional wind gusts and very hot conditions. Liberia temperatures are anticipated to range from 22 degrees celsius to 37.4 degrees celsius.
• Central Pacific is expected to have mostly clear skies in the morning, with cloud cover increasing in the afternoon and rainfall expected in mountainous areas. Quepos temperatures are anticipated to range from 22.1 degrees celsius to 32.3 degrees celsius.
• South Pacific is expected to experience variable cloudiness with isolated rainfall and thunderstorms in the afternoon. Golfito temperatures are anticipated to range from 22.4 degrees celsius to 34.2 degrees celsius.
• North Caribbean is expected to have scattered clouds throughout the day with no significant changes. Guápiles temperatures are anticipated to range from 20.9 degrees celsius to 29.1 degrees celsius.
• South Caribbean is expected to show variable cloudiness. Limón temperatures are anticipated to range from 21.5 degrees celsius to 30.1 degrees celsius.
• Northern region is expected to begin with partly cloudy to clear skies in the morning, with cloud cover increasing in the afternoon. Ciudad Quesada temperatures are anticipated to range from 16.1 degrees celsius to 28.2 degrees celsius.
• Heat intensity is expected to be higher in the North Pacific and central areas.
