The regional centre of the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued yellow warnings for fog in several districts of Odisha on Thursday (04 January). The districts include Malkangiri, Koraput, Nabarangapur, Gajapathi, Kandhamal, Ganjam, Nayagarh, Khordha, Puri, Dhenkanal, Cuttack, Subarnapur, Sambalpur, Jharsuguda, Sundargarh, and Deogarh.
Additionally, for Friday and Saturday (05 and 06 January) yellow warnings for fog have been issued in several districts of Odisha.
