The Central Weather Administration (CWA) has issued a yellow strong wind advisory for parts of Taiwan, valid until Tuesday night (01 September).
The advisory is in effect for Taipei City, New Taipei City, Chiayi County, Tainan City, Kaohsiung City, Pingtung County, Taitung County, Yilan County, Penghu County and Lienchiang County, where sustained winds of Beaufort Force six or gusts reaching Beaufort Force eight are expected.
