The China Meteorological Administration (CMA) has issued a yellow alert for flash floods across parts of China on Sunday (13 September). Flash floods are possible across parts of southeastern Hainan, central Sichuan and southwestern Xinjiang.
The CMA advised that other areas may also experience flash floods due to localized heavy rainfall. Authorities have been urged to strengthen real-time monitoring, flood warnings, evacuation and shelter measures.
