As per reports, a yellow weather alert has been extended due to a thunderstorm affecting Tuscany, including Pisa and surrounding regions. On Friday (31 January), heavy rainfall and storms will continue, moving from coastal areas to inland regions, particularly affecting river basins.

The alert remains active for hydrogeological and hydraulic risks. On Saturday (01 February), showers and local thunderstorms are expected, mainly in the morning, impacting central-southern coastal and inland areas.

• Affected areas include Tuscany, Pisa, Serchio, Reno, Bisenzio, Ombrone Pistoiese, lower Valdarno, and Val di Chiana.
