As per reports, Pan Trinbago, in collaboration with the Ministry of Culture and Community Development, is scheduled to hold World Steelpan Day Celebrations 2026 across Port of Spain on Tuesday (11 August) under the theme ‘Rhythm and Rise: Youth. Discipline. Culture. Community’.

• The programme is scheduled to begin at 1000 hours local time (1400 hours UTC) at the Massy Trinidad All Stars Steel Orchestra Panyard, with performances by youth steel orchestras from across Trinidad and Tobago. Admission to the celebrations is free.
• At 1330 hours local time (1730 hours UTC), the Ancestral Walk is scheduled to depart from the Massy Trinidad All Stars Steel Orchestra Panyard and proceed through streets in Port of Spain toward the bp Renegades Steel Orchestra Panyard, where a second youth showcase is scheduled from 1415 hours local time (1815 hours UTC).
• The procession is expected to generate increased pedestrian activity and localized traffic controls along the route.
• The celebrations are scheduled to culminate at the Grand Stand, Queen’s Park Savannah, Port of Spain, from 1730 hours local time (2130 hours UTC), with an evening concert featuring leading youth steel orchestras.
• Pan Trinbago’s official programme lists the wider World Steelpan Day event window from 1400 hours local time (1800 hours UTC) until 2359 hours local time (0359 hours UTC on 12 August).
