Winter weather advisory issued for parts of Oregon from Wednesday (12 March)

As per reports, the National Weather Service (NWS) issued an updated winter weather advisory at 1309 hours (local time) on Monday (10 March) valid from Wednesday (12 March) 1700 hours (local time) until Thursday (13 March) 2300 hours (local time) for North Oregon Cascades, Cascades of Marion and Linn counties and Cascades of Lane County.

The National Weather Service (NWS) stated that snowfall is expected in elevations above 3500 feet with total snow accumulations of six to 11 inches.
