As per reports, the National Weather Services (NWS) has issued a winter storm watch for Saturday (06 January) morning through Sunday (07 January) afternoon for Lehigh Valley and northwestern New Jersey.
Heavy snowfall is possible, according to the watch covering Northampton and Warren counties. Lehigh County was not immediately included in the advisory.
• Winds are expected to increase into Saturday (06 January) afternoon and evening to around 15-25 mph inland across the region, and to around 25-35 mph along the coast.
• In the watch area, snowfall accumulations are forecast around 2 to 5 inches across the counties’ southern portion, with 4 to 8 inches possible across the northern areas.
