As per reports, winter storm warnings are active in parts of the US on Thursday (18 January).

• Affected areas include northeastern Oregon, southeastern and eastern Washington, central Montana and Great Falls regions, western Wyoming, Utah, western and northeastern Colorado, northern Indiana, northern Ohio, central Pennsylvania, West Virginia, eastern West Virginia, northern Virginia, Washington DC and central and western Maryland.
