As per reports, the National Weather Service (NWS) has issued a winter storm warning for parts of northeast New Jersey, southeast New York and all of interior southern Connecticut from 0100-1800 hours (local time) on Tuesday (13 February).

• The areas covered under the warning include Northern Fairfield, Northern New Haven, Northern Middlesex, Northern New London, Western Passaic, Western Bergen, Rockland, and Northern Westchester.
• Heavy snowfall with total snow accumulations of between five to 10 inches is being predicted in the warned areas.
