The Divisional Railway Manager of the Mumbai Division of Western Railway has announced that Mumbai local train services are running ten to fifteen minutes behind schedule on the Western Line on Wednesday (16 April) due to speed restrictions imposed between Bandra and Mahim stations.
The train will run with a speed limit of 20-30 kilometres per hour placed on trains crossing the Mithi River, and the speed limit will gradually improved to 45 kilometres per hour by the end of the week. The Western Railway (WR) authorities are carrying out repair work for the old rail bridge over the Mithi River.
