As per reports, the National Weather Service (NWS) has issued a wind advisory for the Lehigh Valley, valid through 1800 hours local time on Wednesday (10 January).

• Forecasters have predicted wind gusts averaging between 15 and 25 miles per hour, with peak gusts up to 45 miles per hour in most of New Jersey and eastern Pennsylvania.
• As of 0800 hours local time on Wednesday (10 January), electric Utilities recorded a combined 1,600 outages in Lehigh County (581) and Northampton County (988), with hundreds more across neighboring Bucks and Monroe counties. JCP&L reported 505 outages in Warren County and 5,493 in Hunterdon County. Authorities have warned of disrupted power supplies in these locations through the evening hours of Wednesday (10 January).
• Local authorities have also warned that Jordan Creek and Little Lehigh Creek at Allentown, Lehigh River at Glendon and Bethlehem in Northampton County, Delaware River at Rieglesville in Bucks County are susceptible to flooding, advising residents in the vicinity to take adequate precations.
