The India Meteorological Department (IMD) issued weather warnings across Madhya Pradesh as heavy rainfall is forecast on Monday (22 July). Red alert for extremely heavy rainfall has been issued in Alirajpur, Barwani, Khargone, Sehore, and Seoni. Orange alert very heavy rainfall has been issued in Balaghat, Chindwara, Raisen, Hoshangabad, Shajapur, Ujjain, Ratlam, Jhabua, and Dhar while a yellow alert for heavy rainfall has been issued for all the remaining districts.
