As per reports, a weather alert has been issued by Environment Canada for Barrie, warning of potential heavy rainfall and freezing rain starting Friday evening (28 March) and lasting through Sunday (30 March). Between 30 and 60 millimeters of precipitation, either rainfall or freezing rain, are expected to accumulate during this period.
