As per reports, the West Bengal Junior Doctors’ Front (WBJDF) has scheduled an overnight sit-in protest, followed by a procession in Kolkata on Thursday (09 January), demanding justice for the RG Kar Medical Hospital case. The protest will reportedly begin at 1600 hours followed by a gathering at College Square, followed by a procession to Shyambazar Panchmatha intersection, where participants will stay overnight.

Further, the West Bengal Doctors Forum (WBDF) will also organize a convention on Wednesday (08 January) at 1800 hours at the Rotary House, where senior doctors are scheduled to address and demand justice. Junior doctors are also set to join this convention.
