As per reports, several parts of Metro Manila witnessed waterlogging on Wednesday (06 August) afternoon amid rainfall in the city. Following are the details:
• In Quezon City, the EDSA Balintawak Northbound was flooded with 20 cm of water; however, it remained passable for vehicles.
• In Mandaluyong City, EDSA-Ortigas Intersection, EDSA Shaw Tunnel Northbound, and UN/UNILEVER along Cristobal Street were flooded.
• In Malabon City, Governor Pascual Vernue (corner Maria Clara Street) and Barangay Accacia/Tinajeros were flooded.
• In Caloocan City, McArthur Calle Uno Eastbound, C3 NLEX Connector Northbound and Southbound, and Samson corner Lapu-Lapu Street Northbound were flooded.
• As per the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) forecast for Wednesday (06 August), moderate to heavy rainfall was forecast over isolated parts of Metro Manila and other parts of Luzon. However, by the afternoon hours, the PAGASA had warned of rainfall in all cities within the Metro Manila region, including Quezon City, Caloocan City, Manila, Valenzuela City, Taguig City, Las Piñas City, and Muntinlupa City.
