As per reports, the City of Cape Town’s Water and Sanitation Directorate is scheduled to conduct field investigations in Paarden Eiland from 0900 hours (local time) until 1500 hours (local time) on Wednesday (03 September). This work involves verifying the operation of divisional valves in the potable water network.
• These investigations are part of an eleven-month project covering Manenberg, Bishop Lavis, Ravensmead West, Elsies River, Ruyterwacht, and Paarden Eiland. Short, intermittent disruptions to water supply may occur in Paarden Eiland during the testing.
• On the night of Wednesday (03 September), zero-pressure tests and conditional assessments are scheduled to be carried out in several areas from 2100 hours (local time) until 0400 hours (local time) on Thursday (04 September).
• The affected areas for overnight testing include Masiphumelele, Sun Valley, Sunnydale, Chapman’s Bay Estate, Noordhoek, and the area along Noordhoek Main Road.
