As per reports, State Waterworks (OSE) has announced a planned water supply interruption in parts of Colón Norte, Montevideo, from 0900 hours local time (1200 hours UTC) to 1500 hours local time (1800 hours UTC) to facilitate the replacement of distribution pipes within the Metropolitan Water System on Thursday (04 June).

• The primary affected area includes César Mayo Gutiérrez, Carlos A. López, Camino Pororó, and Fernando Menck streets, while adjacent neighborhoods may experience reduced water pressure and temporary water turbidity following service restoration.
• The disruption may affect residential, commercial, and light industrial activities dependent on uninterrupted water access.
• The planned maintenance forms part of OSE’s ongoing efforts to upgrade and maintain critical water infrastructure within Montevideo’s Metropolitan System
