As per reports, voting in Datu Odin Sinsuat (DOS) , Maguindanao del Norte was delayed on Monday (12 May) due to a standoff between two rival political groups. From 0500 until 1000 hours, residents of the town were not able to cast their votes immediately due to the supporters of rival political camps. The groups had a standoff at the municipal hall grounds, causing the delay. At 1020 hours, the standoff ended after 800 police and army personnel intervened to de-escalate the situation.
