According to reports, a violent clash erupted between Awami League and BNP leaders and activists on Tuesday (17 June) at around 2000 hours (local time). The incident occurred at the Qatar Bazar area in Pakundia, Kishoreganj, Dhaka.

Two have been critically injured during the incident. The exact cause of the clash remains unclear; however, preliminary investigations by authorities suggest that the incident may be linked to longstanding rivalry between the two political parties.
