As per reports, a vegetation fire was reported near the 500 block of La Moree Road in San Marcos, California on Sunday (05 April).

• CAL FIRE San Diego and the San Diego County Fire Protection District responded to the incident, which was reported at 1500 hours local time (2200 hours UTC).
• The San Diego County Sheriff’s Department assisted in evacuating residences in the immediate area.
• A temporary evacuation point is established at Mission Hills High School.
• Forward progress of the fire was stopped at 1610 hours local time (2310 hours UTC). The fire burned a total of 1.93 acres.
